Why can’t Minds Community debate?

Alright yall. I have made lots of blog posts with lots of debate points and evidence. I get some thumbs up and a few lovely trolls who think it will be productive to ad hominem me to death.

So what happened? Did everyone miss all the extensive work Stefan Molyneux did regarding the merits of having a great argument? Well it isn’t the people on Minds fault really. They just missed debate class and the various endless and breathtaking endeavors of Stefan Molyneux to induce “The Art of The Argument”.

So let me explain this for the slower of the people on this server…

In order to prove your point it will require something greater than a meme.

Have you considered the path called “Reason and Evidence”?

Assuming reason is not sufficient. Can you provide evidence? And what are you even trying to say?

What I am trying to say is this : Apparently the Minds community does not yet know that art of debate.

Why do I say this? Well look… there is a thing called an Ad Hominem attack. More or less it is an attempt to degrade the messenger without paying attention to the message. An Ad Hominem argument is “a personal attack” during a debate. The problem with this form of debate is that it strains out the camel to get a flea… and of the detractory comments I get, they are basically all just ad hominems…

So before you argue with me, go buy The Art of The Argument by Stefan Molyneux, compose an actual argument, and then post your response to me…

Almost every single one of my blog posts contains much evidence to support my viewpoint.

And if you feel like I am wrong please let me know and let me know exactly why you think I am wrong and provide the extent of your reason and evidence.

If you failed to miss all my other Blog Posts go check them out, determine if I am right or wrong, and then furnish a post that explains my abundances or deficiencies of innerstanding.

Thank you for your time!
