THE STRUGGLE AGAINST THE DARKNESS

Light and Dark pervade the human experience. Concepts of Good and Concepts of Evil are deep themes of human life, especially at this time.

Though these extreme dualities hold place at the far poles of the psyche, there is much that is morally ambiguous about existence. This terrible struggle has been emerging in my mind, in my being. As time has progressed there has been much greying of my light and of my darkness.

Many standards for “moral” or “religious” life have been presented by many cultures in many languages. Every culture more or less follows its own religious / moral / interpersonal rules, and these various formulas for life are often mutually contradictory and are not seen to be universally applied globally or even in a single culture. According to Western History there was never a time when humans existed at peace and in harmony with the world or one another. 8,000 years of wars.

How do I see The Darkness manifesting?

It is this unquenchable hunger, and the lust and rage and envy that follows.

It is the pain of the wound, the degradation of the wholeness of the body.

It is the laziness that drives one person to enslave another to work on their behalf.

It is the addiction that takes root in a person’s cells that causes the cravings that override reason.

It is habits that degrade the body and which causes disease.

It is the various dynamics that cause conflict between humans. It is the psychology of hate that considers other people inferior or inhuman, and which uses that as an excuse to use or abuse them.

It is a lack of respect that enables people to abuse other creatures.

It is that part of the psyche that causes the guard to abuse the prisoners.

It is a violent viciousness that lurks in the heart.

The same force that allows one person to abuse another, allows all the wars, the torture, the slavery, the rape, and the starvation.

So The Darkness that I am speaking of is more deeply rooted than any particular religion’s explanation of evil. The Darkness is there in the mind of the human being, as the extent of a person’s lack of knowledge. Relative to the extent of one’s awareness the unknown, the ignorance, the undiscovered, is infinite.

Light existed before The Eye, and Sound existed before The Ear. Creatures adapted the means to detect the phenomenons of Light and Sound. Light and Sound existed long before the instruments to decipher the signals of these things came into being.

Each moral context presented by each religion contains standards that the followers are meant to follow. These religions were not optional in most of the cultures, the religion and the culture are intertwined, and everyone born into a given culture are programmed by their family, language, and peers.

In America however, we have been granted “The Freedom of Religion”, and the result is a massive melting pot of mismatched and mashed together traditions. Even if a person is born into a particularly fundamentalist family of a certain religion, the entirety of American culture does not conform to the wishes of any of the religions that are sheltered here. Instead of a uniform culture with uniform expectations for everyone, it is every group for themselves.

It results in a battleground of ideas, beliefs, religions, and ideologies. Each group canvasses and propagandizes the general populous to magnetize followers into their given fold.

It results in massive amounts of pressure on the psyche of the individual.

Not only do belief systems canvass, but every corporation and business is trying to coopt the psyche, wills, and desires of as many people as they can via advertising.

The backdrop and underpinning of the whole experience is the biological human creature.

This creature is basically universally the same across the entire species regardless of the nation they were born in or what cognitive system they have been infused with.

The human being is not different from other animals. We eat, mate, sleep, and defend. We are subject to birth, disease, old age, and death. We must breathe, eat, drink, excrete waste and reproduce. Our biological situation demands this of us through peptides and hormones and pheromones and this bottomless pit that each is wrapped around called “a stomach”. Hunger is something all beings that must eat to live experiences.

In The Vedas the story is a bit different, and all the Jiva Souls in all 14 planetary systems are subject to birth, disease, old age, death, and subsequent rebirth, but depending on the planetary system and depending on the Age humans have existed in higher states of being with much extended duration of life and the 4 material miseries are as diminished as they can possibly be.

There are 360 degrees of equal yet opposite views.

In America one’s psyche is surrounded and inundated with many different versions of Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Gnostics, Agnostics, Atheists, Hermeticists, Hindus, Vaishnavas, Bahais, Mystics, Wiccans, Pagans, Jains, Sieks, Satanists, Scientists, Capitalists, Communists, Socialists, Fascists, Nazis, Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Optimists, Pessimists, Nihilists, Solipsists, Rich, Poor, Sick, Healthy, Corporation and Business owners, Materialists, Renunciates, Bankers, Freemasons, Rosecrucians, Mafia, Gangsters, Thugs, Addicts of all kinds, people addicted to power, drugs, sex, food, being in control, your average Joe and any imaginable mixture of the above types of ideologies imaginable.

On every level the psyche of the human is being subjected to massive amounts of pressure to be coopted into various agendas. And it doesn’t matter what post you get your psyche tied to, it will not be acceptable to the vast hoards of other followers of the agendas of the other posts.

If a person’s “Soul” is “Their Time In The Now” then it is definitely a war over coopting the human Soul.

Every hierarchy is established via dominance and cooperation. Every hierarchy is a contest of skill and determination and learning and potency of effectiveness in relative scale.

Each major Religion tends to state its own imperative about why the entire world needs to follow their belief system, but the beliefs themselves are mutually contradictory and so they cannot all be followed simultaneously without being a hypocrite in the eyes of both groups one endeavored to follow.

So perhaps the real focus should be on what it takes to bring actual health and self realization to people.

The creature is woven in the darkness of the womb.

The struggle of a biological creature. We must devour other creatures in order to survive.

One creature lives at the expense of another.

The desire to lounge around, to relax, to enjoy, to eat, and to have easy to access food and water.

To be safe and secure and sheltered.

So somewhere in there people ended up Kings and Queens and rulers and such.

And apparently the desire for Empire and Conquest and the Madness of More is a byproduct of the existence of leaders and Authority.

This naturally brings up the issue of The Gods and The Bloodlines of The Gods.

2 of the oldest cultures that we have records from are the Sumerians and The Egyptians, both of which account that the rulers of their societies were not human beings but were actually beings from other dimensions or worlds. And the rulers were these nonhuman beings and then later the half breeds between humans and The Gods and then the blood got more and more diluted but the rulers of the world still claim decent from the Gods today.

I use this word “Gods” lightly. There were other names for them, The Annunaki (Sumerians), The Nephilem (Book of Enoch), The Devas and Asuras (The Vedas), Neters (Egyptian)… in the Bible they are called The Giants whose children were the great heroes of renown.

The Bible and The Book of Enoch describes these beings teaching humanity all their arts and sciences but ultimately leading humanity astray. The same arts and sciences are given to humanity by The Annunaki in the Sumerian records but this was considered a good thing at the time and the humans worshiped the Annunaki.

The Darkness hides everything that is hidden.

This us versus them mentality.

One problem is that cultures are often ignorant of other cultures languages, customs, and beliefs and so they offend one another and transgress each other’s rules unintentionally. Sometimes a blessing in one tongue is a curse in another.

The motto of empire is why ask, barter, or trade when you can take?

It is The Chaos of War.

Then there are lies. Given the proliferation of books like The Art of War by Sun Tsu which describes how war is deception, and The Prince by Machiavelli which describes ruling ruthlessly and dishonorably, the art of Empire is the art of brainwashing the people through propaganda and mind control.

Controlling people through their lack of knowledge and deception.

The Scions of Entropy! The Police, The Lawyers, The Judges, The Prison Workers, The Doctors, The Bankers are all there to capitalize on the decay and rot of society.

The People perish for their lack of knowledge.

Multigenerational Evil, multigenerational bad blood, prejudice, deeply rooted disrespect and hatred for a people. The potential for healthy interactions has become mangled. It can only be healed by serious work to heal the divides by both sides.

The Darkness is insanity. The breakdown of the proper function of the psyche. When the mind can no longer furnish thoughts and intentions that are favorable for the Soul, The Mind, The Emotions, or The Body. The word “insane” stems from the concept of sanus : health. So the onset of unhealthy behaviors is “insanity”.

As such, the mind believing and acting upon a lie is certainly insane.

Actual Truth is the only way to neutralize the darkness.

Unburdening myself of all false thoughts is the only way to be “sane”.

As such when there are massive propaganda endeavors and operations seeking to deceive and misinform my sense of reality and the world, then it is foremost a psychic war.

One way or the other it is up to me to endeavor to clarify my own Truth for myself.

And then to live up to the extent of that Truth to the best of my ability.

I guess I have been underestimating the influence of psychic toxins.

False ideas create a diseased mind.

Media lies, misleading news, and government propaganda all contaminate the clarity of the thought stream. The media blitzkrieg is very unhealthy for the mind.

So we can see that the very struggles the most ancient primitive people faced are still there lurking barely concealed beneath a thin gloss we call “civilization”.

And the struggle with The Darkness is still a foundational deeply rooted psychological issue.

Because of an improper recognition of the forces of Darkness humanity is constantly victimized by the forces of ignorance, destruction, entropy, and degradation. Because society is not properly contextualizing their actual struggle, we find ourselves lost in a phantasmagoria of false thoughts and false impressions. Society is constantly victimized and surprised by this, because we are naive.

We have a tendency to trust the Society and their innerstanding of things. We are conditioned to accept the impressions given to us by the various Establishment Authorities.

But what I gather is that we are not actually properly educated regarding the perils facing us on a daily life at all. In fact the prejudice of each person’s cultural programming works directly against properly recognizing other people’s, Religions, languages, or cultures.

If I fail to embrace my own ignorance and if I reject subsequent endeavors to learn then it will be difficult for me to gain education in other cultures. If I hate the feeling of having to admit my ignorance and if I hate needing to ask for instruction then my intellectual and spiritual growth with be checked.

There is Mental, Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Darkness.

A human does not see what a cat sees in The Dark. The cat can perceive things in lower light conditions. And then if you look into the Infrared and The Ultraviolet the world would never look “dark” relative to what the eye perceives as dark now. For humans we have long associated the darkness with danger, since many things hunt at night, and humans are long used to being prey. Not to mention all the millennia of warfare. Darkness has a strong emotional content for human beings.

Fear of the dark is a common thing. People fear that which they do not understand.

The fear for survival, the desire for certainty and security, the fear of the unknown, irrational fear, the fear of the enemy who is not on their way.

So in conclusion : Humanity has quite the struggle on their hands. We have some 1st World Problems created by some 1st World spenders. The world suffers. There has got to be a better way.
