The United Nations asked 8 questions in the process of drafting the UN Declaration of Human Rights.  This is the question that I present as the 9th Question that was never asked.

Where do entheogen psychedelics fit into the human rights issue?

So here we have substances which require proper handling, which have wonderful positive benefits if used in the right environment by the right person and which also have the potential to harm if utilized in the wrong way or if mishandled.

Likewise, many medicines and tools and knowledge have this very prerequisite : that proper training and proper state of mind must be exercised to utilize these medicines and tools or else one could injure oneself and others.

The Example of The Buzz Saw : So many people use Buzz Saws without chopping off any of their limbs in the process thousands of times a day.  As long as the Buzz Saw is handled properly it helps facilitate the general development of Civilization.  If it not handled properly it costs people various phalanges and limbs or even their life to misuse a Buzz Saw but we do not endeavor to illegalize buzz saws.  Why is that?  Because Buzz Saws help civilizations to build and to progress.  Someone invented a Buzz Saw because not having Buzz Saws necessitated chopping up wood by hand which sucked.

So despite the dangers of Buzz Saws they are still legal.  However on the basis of a hypothetical danger to human life Entheogens are still illegal.

The amounts of sheer bliss, elation, connection, and outright therapy psychedelics have the potential to induce is extensive. Most of the negative results people have gotten have more to do with the practitioner and less to do with the medicines in question. The bad “set and setting” so to speak.

Should people be allowed to utilize entheogen psychedelics?

The answer is “yes – with a few exceptions.” And “No - not without proper training.” A license may be required to take or administer psychedelics.

A “Medicine Person License” and a “Voyaging License”.

Entheogenic Clearance : The Right to explore the potential of one’s own human experience.

Dr. Timothy Leary said this about all that "No one shall forbid anyone else to interact with Entheogens, and no one shall force anyone else to interact with Entheogens."  Good enough mate.

It’s a really deep quandary. Who can say what is going to be favorable and what is going to be unfavorable? We should not stunt our potential by ignoring all the amazing advancements psychedelics could enable, nor should we ignore all the harm black-market and unregulated psychedelic use can cause.

The truth is hundreds if not thousands of people interact with psychedelics whether they are legal or not every day. This fact means that psychedelics are certainly a part of human life whether the more uptight and inhibited factions like this fact or not. Thus, we as a human community need to find the best way to cope with these medicines. We must minimize the potential harm and prevent as much damage as possible, while recognizing the benefits these medicines have for humanity in general.

Many myths exist about psychedelics and how they effect the body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Much of this will have to be dispelled though disclosure about the actual facts about how physically benign DMT, Psilocybin Mushrooms, Peyote, Ayahuasca, LSD, and Ganja really are.

Such as how both alcohol and tobacco actually cause more damage than any of the above mentioned to the physical organism per amount ingested. Both these two alcohol and tobacco have a long history of causing disease, death, and they have ruined many lives.

Yet they are both socially and governmentally sanctioned. These Carcinogenic Poisons serve mostly the same “coming of age” type ceremonial purpose for people – a privilege granted as one gets older at 18 and again at 21. Giving the impression to the youth that is “what people do” when they grow up. People essentially addict themselves to savage chemicals that eat up one’s resources and one’s health.

Thus people are taught to aspire after addiction in this supposedly “drug free” culture, right out the gate as we join the other adults in the human race. In more ancient times and in many indigenous cultures today, people utilized and continue to utilize psychedelics to “come of age”.

At this time in America the youth are struggling for lack of discipline and a lack of a healthy form for life. We have few to no really good role models and many terrible ones. We as a culture are lacking in our ability to raise the youth in a sense of “the true nature of reality” – because in many ways we have been living disconnected from any natural Earth cycles, stellar cycles, moon cycles, and so many youths lack compass for their lives. They are lacking “vision”.

“It is not one who lacks sight but one who lacks vision who is blind.”

What is the relationship between psychedelic use and human rights?

Government has seen fit to “illegalize” psychedelics and thus they attempt to deprive people of their Divinity given right to utilize them.

A select few decided for us all that these medicines have nothing to offer – even disregarding all the already existing scientific research to the contrary.

They are labeled Schedule 1, with supposedly “no medical use”, which is total hogwash. When these medicines are some of the most potent and effective medicines there are, in their own fields of specialty.

So, a fearful section of society chose that no one else can choose to utilize these medicines without fearing being degraded to some subhuman standard of life (fit for violent policing and subsequent incarceration) if caught. Sounds like mind control to me : telling people what they can and cannot choose and enforcing such control with brute force.

The findings of the MK ULTRA experiments conducted by the CIA after World War 2, which were conducted partially to test LSD’s effectiveness as a weapon, found that “A deconditioning agent the strength of LSD is inherently “counter agenda.”

For these blokes have been in the business of “mental programming and conditioning” for years, and they spend billions every year establishing mind control, and a medicine that can essentially undo the whole mesh net of conditioning and control all at once was unwanted. That’s what a “Government” does… it governs.

And in America they strive to govern over every tiny detail, instructing people in every aspect of existence, until no one thinks anything the Government doesn’t want them to think.

L inserts itself in the synapses and blocks the neurons from making their ordinary connections. 2500 micrograms is enough to block off every neurological connection in the brain and this serves as “a factory reset.”

Why does this bother the various people who seek to dominate society?

Well, in their minds the fabric of the mind control that they have invested everyone in society with is the be all and end all.  These people imagine that society as a whole would distintigrate into total bedlam if they were not there to help steward  creation.  These dominators of society, these Rulers and Politicians and Controllers and Officials and Administrators and Overseers of Reality imagine  that if they were not there to oversee reality then everything known as life and civilization would disintegrate

The word Government is derived from the Greek words “Gubernatio” which means “to control” and “ment” which means “mind”. “Control of The Mind.” The truth is right there in plain sight.

In the meanwhile life goes on.  Their endeavors are basically a waste of time since people are going to do what people are going to do.
