Batwoman - A franchise undone
Ladies & Gentlemen,
I present to you a disaster.
Now you might be wondering (if you haven't see it already) why I call it a disaster and the reason is clear, you know who has had their greasy tainted mitts over a franchise.
First let me take you back to when I first saw Batwoman. It was in watching the film Batman Bad Blood, which introduced her better into a DC arc story than this pile of crap. Yes Yes I know I am being harsh but honestly hear me out. When we read her bio what do we find, aside from her mother being killed and her father being alive, she is apparently Bruce Wayne in female form (yeah I kid you not)
Genius-level intellect
Peak human physical condition
Highly skilled martial artist
Highly skilled detective
Utilizes high-tech equipment and weapons
Does any of this sound familiar? Honestly there is no baseline difference, and yeah she is a wealthy heiress.
So aside from the fact I find her origin and skills to be wholely unoriginal lets see a difference, well in the animated film I mentioned she dons the costume and Batman scolds her for it, telling her dressing up as a bat doesn't make her a hero and because of her actions batman goes missing.
In the trailer we get nothing like this, no Batman has just abandoned Gotham (according to the trailer) so this Batwoman's record in that regard is spotless. It is also said in the trailer that Kate Kane is exactly like Bruce Wayne (just to hammer the point home). Then we come to more direct SJW points.
Okay I can accept she is lesbian, that's not the issue here, its that in EVERY TV/movie now a lesbian/gay relationship has to be a interracial one at that, double brownie points. Then later in the trailer she breaks into Wayne Enterprises, yes breaks into one of the most secure companies in the world and enters the batcave, again so secure major league criminals had trouble getting in but she just waltzes in, finds the suit (which if you notice has lighting issues as it appears to have cups on them designed for women) then tells the black guy (no name) to 'fix' the suit as though it is broken and when he tells her it is perfection she says and I quote "When it fits a woman"
Cringe
But anyway, remember this moment because it will pale later I am not kidding.
Once again in this trailer we see her kicking multiple larger opponents with ease and without injury it seems, even pushing one with enough force to dent metal, yeah, I respect Daredevils first major corridor fight scene from the TV series, THAT was more realistic than this.
I always have to ask myself, if Gotham, which tells of Bruce Waynes rise to becoming the legend he aimed for indicates that his journey took YEARS, how is it that this hero takes days, I am not kidding her first entrance as batwoman is almost exactly like his. Its frustrating.
Then comes the title word which reads "The Hero we need is Her (taking off the last E)" Another cringe moment. Then we have a little girl calling out "Hey its batman" understandable since she is wearing batman's suit and looks like a slim version of him. To which she later says "I am not about to let a man take credit for a woman's work"
BITCH YOU STOLE HIS EQUIPMENT AND LOOK AND YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO CLAIM HE IS STEALING YOUR WORK!!!
Seriously is there anything that SJWs will not ruin! I bet they don't even read the comics or watch the original content. Its like a person saying they are a Star Wars/ Star Trek fan but only saw the newest movies.
