The Infinite Potential of Existence

What can be said about everything and nothing? Well, this is the most abstract and tangible concept that encompasses the totality of all levels of existence that do and don’t fit within our field of perception. The Infinite Potential of Existence- IPE- has been called many names and been conceptualised in many ways to be the basis of various systematic structures of thought. The prima materia in alchemy, the Tao in Taoism, God in theologies, The All in Hermetic philosophy, energy in science and many, many more.

This concept assumed at some point the form of a personality or deity that created the levels of existence which we inhabit and then leave. But it never made sense to me, the most accurate description of the source of everything is The All in hermetic philosophy. The All is not only and abstract concept, it is the most down to earth thing that you can imagine. But before I get into that, why do we need to conceptualise such a thing as is The All, God, Energy or the IPE? Because all concepts have an effect on how we behave and live out our lives, it has an effect on how we regard the universe and our place in it. It doesn’t really bother the universe what we think, we live and die just the same whether we call the source god or the all. What the meaning of a concept implies affects our psychological experience of reality and thus the character of our experience. It affects whether we stretch sleep up until the last secong we have and then wake up all grumpy and frustrated because we need to do something, or whether you are so excited to do your things that even if you wanted to rest you still wake up and start doing your things with joy like me this very moment writing this book for you.

From the philosophical standpoint the conception of god can be seen as the bridge between idealism for ultimately one’s conception of god encompasses his perception of what it is that reality is which is what determines his position in reality. Therefore a collective conception of god is as essential for a group of people to be able to trust each other, as it is for an individual to value himself. If people know where each individual positions himself he becomes somewhat predictable and therefore somewhat trustworthy and that’s why we tend to want people to have the same conception of god as we do. When humanity got rid of the conception of god as a creator and thus a governor of reality we failed to define a new standard model of god so that we can understand each other and advance in synergy towards manifesting the potential that we have as a species to live in harmony with each other and our environment, with the universe. Instead we let science and government take the authority that we tried to get rid of by disregarding religion.

Thus I propose a model of reality as a function of perception built upon a mathematical and phonetic conception of god as the infinite potential of existence. As I see it, defining a useful and rational definition of the source of existence we can continue and build a balanced systematic structure of thought that will lead us into a state of harmony with the universe. Thus, for the model to work it most be consistent with experience and so breed happiness under the condition of consistency with the model’s principles.

The IPE in other words, holds within it’s self all trees of knowledge. Those wihtin and without the field of our perception. A tree of knowledge is the collection of all experience that is translated into language, that is to say, all perceptions that flow through the self into a new level of existence. We’ll get to that later.

Then again, the IPE is simply my conception of god, for at the face of god being a concept it is subject to subjectivity. All concepts have purpose, the purpose of conceptualising a god is the positioning of one’s self in a linguistic model of reality. I am happy, and the way I got to this is because I looked for my conception of god and so I want to show it to as many people as I can so that they can find theirs and be as happy as they can be. This is not to say that life and existence became simple, it means that I now am able to understand the value of hardship, for without effort there can be no value to rest. Everything needs something else to be related to so that it can exist, black needs white to take form, plus needs minus to create an electric charge, male needs female to breed new life.
