Esoteric-s: From Adjective to Noun
It seems to me that the use of the concept “esoteric” is limited to an adjective that describes a whole field of inquiry that I perceive to be of utter importance to understand the meaning of being human. It infuriates me that fundamental truths that have the potential to get rid of unnecessary suffering are clouded in mystery by ignorance. Whether or not this conception is accepted or not is irrelevant, this is my tribute to the rational soul that is looking for the truth through the same channels that I am. So here is to you, the seeker of truth who is displeased with the mystification and spookiness attributed to the concept that encompasses fundamental knowledge acquired by human beings looking for rational solutions to the mysteries of life as well as useful tools to be as happy and productive as we have the potential of being.
Keep in mind that an adjective is a concept that describes the character of something and/or someone, whereas a noun is a concept that describes what something is.

We can see that there is a theme that characterizes all that is described as esoteric. I conceptualize this theme as ‘spooky’. So what is the spooky thing that is so spooky as to have an adjective but no noun? As I see it, the noun that gave birth to the adjective discussed is the concept that encompasses the notion of a universal law that underlies every level of existence at its most fundamental level. This notion has been studied by the rational individuals that guided humanity throughout the ages towards the progress that produced the fruits of prosperity we enjoy today.
That being said, I believe it is time for each and every one of us to grow up and become as prosperous and happy as we can be. There is no reason to cage our selves in a golden cage of mediocrity, it’s time for us to take our spiritual freedom by accepting our spiritual responsibilities. We are no longer children who listen to the laws because an authority said so, nor adolescents who follow the law in fear of nonexistent consequences, we are now young adults demanding the reason behind optimal courses of action, demanding the meaning of our existence. If no one has it than how do we create the meaning we so desperately need. This is an age of logotherapy, an age for our search of meaning to reach our soul, we are the water bearers.
To do so, I propose the conceptions of the sciences deployed to study all that is considered esoteric. This conception will enable us to methodically organize the knowledge and inquiries of what it means to be human. What is this knowledge good for? Understanding the meaning of being human is the first step and paradoxically last step to live in harmony with the universe, or as is more tangibly perceived, in a state of prosperity and happiness. What is my interest in prosperity and happiness? I want to experience it. What is my interest in sharing my findings with people? The more prosperous and happy people in the world the more pleasant my surrounding will be wherever I go. Yes, I am the most self-centered man you will probably know off.
That being said, I present to you the main tool I use to understand reality. Conceptual Analysis. It’s very simple, take a concept, any concept, even the concept of a concept itself for example. Now that you have the concept of ‘a concept’ on the table, put the lamp to its face and ask:
-What is a concept?
- How does a concept work?
- Why does the concept of a concept exist?
This was just an example, you can do the same with any concept of your liking, for example the concept of a table.

1. A table is a flat plate placed perpendicularly to a base and parallelly to the floor.
2. The plate is held by the base so that by being static and stable it works as a surface where actions that require a platform can be performed, or specific things can be placed.
3. Probably because at some point someone must have developed the need to use a platform so that the practice became so common that the idea of a table was made into a reality through the conception of the idea into a linguistic entity called a word.
The thing about conceptual analysis is that the questions can be answered in so many different levels of meaning depth that it is both limited by the present perception of the individual and the key for expanding his perception of the concept in question. If you ask me, this is what mediation is; The relaxing of the body and concentration in silence is conscious rest.
