Could this be because you are trying to treat women as clones instead of individuals?
Daily, some men talk about not understanding women, as though they are a fleet of identical cars that share the same characteristics, same performance, and physical attributes that should all be easily understood. But no man needs to be able to ‘understand’ women to know how to treat them. That’s the mark of controllers who expect everyone to behave the same way to enable them to feel in charge and comfortable. It seems if women are different, they create a ‘problem’, which does not sit easily with ready assumptions, or stereotypic approaches.
