The Jury System is positively negative (Power To the people?) #MindsGaming #Op #OpenMinds #FreeSpeech
In the past week or so Minds has been trying and trying to defend its broken Jury System, and of course main “power accounts” have both come to the defense and attack on the issue causing turmoil on the network with everyone from base users with little subs, to big accounts, independent news outlets or “advertisers” as bill puts in one of his most recent videos.
Now before we start I have reviewed the “new jury system” and see no actual changes defined in the actual system in terms of how strikes and content work.
As I noted in my last blog NSFW doesn't get you banned only censored on the Minds mobile app. For the ones that say it is not censorship, I would ask what the worst part of censorship is? The point here is, that if it’s not readable, or able to view for a user it is censored to that user.
As no surprise the jury system is not transparent at user base value, you still do not know your offender is and have no way to maintain Independence on the network form trolls and epic reporters (Ones that go with the soul purpose to report content that is edgy on channels and the boost feed) and for the record if you report me fine I'll appeal but please block my channel after that thanks.
That also brings the issue of blocking up again and why blocking should make your channel invisible to the user you have blocked, and that user invisible on the network. Anyways I am ranting lets get to the real reason I wrote this.
I didn’t write this because I am some “advertiser” or independent network, even if I would like to be (Yea I notice the struggle coining that term) I am an investor and pioneer on your network that you have yet to respond or rebuttal-ed in some way although a couple of admins have said they would “when they have time” but here we are with a new blog from Minds talking about how the system works. I would like to ask you how you think it works with all the mass users complaints and general feedback that you have gotten are you in some other world?
Well to answer myself it seems so, but that is lucky for me as no “doxing” rules apply here for you-tube comments and don’t say it’s the culture before you go read your own comments on your last blog about the issue.
These are your new users that may have been interested in coming onto your service from your last YouTube video and I am not taking any shots at the creator because I like his content in general and in this case he stuck his head out for you only to get backlash from his actual supporters and that can hurt pockets if you are monetized so we will keep him out as I am sure he has it under control and wish him the best of luck with the next I look forward to seeing it compute.
Its not a coincidence that comments from You-Tube ( a very censored social media, right?) echo the same comments you see here on Minds.
As a long time user, investor and critic (good or bad) on Minds I wrote my blog with the ways that I thought you could fix and improve the system in the most neutral way I could without getting to “in my feelings” about it.
The truth is I am not angry at you, I am disappointed that what I put so much time effort and investment into what has become a social media joke because you are in some delusional land where this type of input is “good news” and “working” please show me a positive review that defines how the system is transparent and working for the user base and new user prospects as a whole, but before that please read and debunk my last blog because this blog wasn’t really for you it was the the users who follow and want the truth not some PR piece that covers nothing that users are complaining about in the end.
Many of my users (Again I say my users as I want to be an independent network with tools to protect my supporters and channel while being able to speak my Minds) may say I didn’t attack hard enough on this blog, and maybe not but there is nothing left to attack really I haven’t received a reply, the actual content policy didn’t really change and me, well I am just done fighting a lost cause and trying to fix a company that has no wish to listen to its user base or even its new incoming (potential) users, how can you possible grow here with comments and media like Minds is receiving on this jury system and with no reply on actually fixing the transparency at a user base value, troll report attacks on accounts, channel posts, and general bad implementation on the whole process I think I may take others advice and “fork” and remake Minds or maybe it’s just time to find a new network, or maybe social media in general will never be a place for free speech, expression and your own space to make and create independent networks that are self maintainable.
If I am wrong please give me the facts, debunk my last blog, don’t come at me with some PR piece or yell fake news and cry about the backlash. Lets see the facts.

(Black Screen is censorship, the worst part of censorship is)
3.) Transparency in layman's terms.
• Who reported my content?
• Why is the reporter on my channel?
(Why can't I know to block them again?)
• How does random work?
(As an active user I have never been selected or notified to date)
• Who is voting on my content.
(Are they my peers or a bot farm?)
• What was the outcome of the vote?
• Why am I voting on this idk is it "spam" nope looks good I guess.
• "That post had bad words is that "NSFW" do your users know the answer?
Answers I don’t want to see
"it's in the git" because please show me the code that these things cover like who reported me.
“This is click-bait” Because this is my view like it or not.
“Fake News” Well I already covered that about you so just don’t.
