Rainbows & Unicorns (My Outlook On Minds) #MindsGaming

I really haven’t been on that much, do to many things like moving into a new place and being super busy at work. I must admit my absence matched up pretty dam well with my last blog even if it wasn’t planned. During my little absence I tried to keep up with tags and notifications the best I could with mobile having issues. So after a few comments and messages I decided to write this up real quick and it’s a pretty simple article, in fact what you are reading is pretty much filler ;) 
 

But I wanted to address the point of rainbows and unicorns for the ones still reading, and that is to say not everything is amazing but that doesn’t make it bad. What is the old saying when the going gets tough, the tough get going… Well I’m not going anywhere and good, bad or in-between I say it how it is and speak my Minds on this network as I feel anyone should, but this little article is for the unicorns the ones who promote and apply that shock “it’s amazing” to everything (you know who you are) no matter the actual current system works.

I have never liked flash and hype and certainly not flash and hype that doesn’t fit the spectrum. If I like something I say why and the benefits sure no problem, but to ignore the issues and only focus on the best isn’t how we improve. That moves me to my current outlook on Minds and that is it is moving in the right direction and many of the features that have been waiting are now arriving at the table even if one of my first question was can we steam on this thing. I like many of the new features that have been added (note I'm on canary) from the blogs posted from the post area (as they are blog posts) to the new discovery features (although group search is buggy) my blogs are how I feel and usually the actions or suggestions having to do with said blog, I don’t care about the views, or hype, or hate. 
 

I hope that Minds continues to move in the right direction with the features and layouts, but also hope that it doesn’t forget where it comes from. It comes from the users and sometime for the users it’s not always rainbows and unicorns.
