More Minds Limits ( #HashTags #MindsGaming )

With the new hashtag system you may find some issues finding new content as you can only follow five hashtags network wide. With this new system users are coming to blank feeds, and generally missing out on content.

The System

The new system allows users to follow a limited amount of hashtags although we understand the issue with allowing any account to use all hashtags (as in any hashtag they want and as many as they want) for posting inside groups and on newsfeeds (we even made a video about it)we cant support a total network of hashtag limits.

This system limits users content at an rate that I have never seen before. Five topics (or tags) is a very limed amount of topics for user, I myself know I have more than five interests in total beyond gaming.

As of now you can add these topics by clicking a hashtag on or in a post, this will bring you to a “hashtag” type screen to follow up to five hashtags. These are the only hashtags you can follow and “All” is all the hashtags you have selected. No way to expand your Minds outside of this field is available.

Our Community

Okay I kinda lied no system on Minds is available outside these five topics or hashtags. We have created a community with over 400 groups and I'm not sure how many hashtag throughout our time on Minds and you are free to browse the site and join the open groups and topics listed, although the hashtag will not be added to your list the posts inside these topics will appear on your feed.

Solution

Well other than join as many groups as you can (that you can find outside our site) not many solutions are available unless Minds makes a system where you can follow any amount of topics or tags but only use said amount of tags inside an actual post.
