Minds is about to go live on the the main-net with its Minds Token and in preparation for this released the a summary of how to buy tokens, set-up your wallet, meta,mask and moreover anything about the Minds Token. But fails to tell you anything about the the program to build your network, here we are going to highlight what a node is, the node program, the current standing of the node program, closed beta, and how to sign up.
What is a node?
A Minds node is a standalone Minds social network hosted by Minds. That is experimenting with distributed topology and federated service.
I'll call it beta...
Minds nodes are currently in testing and anyone can setup a network, but this is something they will be focusing on in q3 as a service

How does it Work?
Minds Nodes are a copy of Minds code hosted on a subdomain provided by Minds Inc. It is in testing so you will run into issues that need to be reported to Minds, also note that in closed beta all reports are low priority.
Users can sign up, post, make groups, blogs, channels and almost everything you can do on Minds.
You can NOT boost content, create custom pages, earn tokens, or edit the layout or framework of the node in anyway currently although these things should come down the line.
Paid Service
Yes if your node scales you are paying to help test the network, in return you are giving your (Whatever) a place to freely post, upload, create groups, blogs, send encrypted messages to each-other, and almost anything else but boost and collect Minds Tokens.
Anything I can do for free?
Minds is looking to see how these networks scale to size, and what is needed to make them a valuable asset to the Minds token, if you never wish to pay if your network does scale try finding a user that has an open node in beta testing and help them scale by signing up!
