Help & Support (Closing Soon?) -Updated #MindsGaming #Op #OpenMinds
Minds may soon be closing the current support group for a new layout. Users may no longer be able to post or chat inside Help & Support (we know chat will be closed completly). In the future when you navigate to the Minds Help & Support group you will only be greeted with a logging system and self help page from my understanding.
I must say that the support group has been going downhill for some time with spam and relative support reply, the new system that Minds is planning to roll out will focus on logging issues for fix over answering questions or gaining community input on the network.
I for one was hoping for a discord forum type of replacement that would still allow community help & support building while limiting spam and organizing issuers by ratings and community input but this is nothing close to what I see possibly coming down the line.
I think that this would be a great loss to community building and inner networks on Minds, however a few users like myself are getting ready for this change over and hope that we as users can provide a similar experience if not a better one than the old current Help & Support. We haven’t finalized anything yet but are working on how we can do this to provide a peer to peer support area.
