Minds Rewards Experiment Is A Joke (Why I was Banned From MindsToken Chat By The CEO Of Minds) #MindsGaming

I know it’s a hot take, everyone loves the new reward system right? Well lets go over whats wrong with the system again, and again, and again tell it clicks with other users.

At face value the Minds reward system seems pretty good. You make a post, you get interactions, you get rewards. But the issue with the system is much deeper than these simple mechanisms.

The main and major issue with the reward system is unlimited, there is no terms of service or way for Minds (currently) to record and manage users or bots with multiple accounts. This means a user create many accounts to harvest Minds tokens by interacting with themselves, or even create a bot to do the work for them.

At first you may think, so what. Well the what would be that this is dipping into your rewards or contribution to the network, reducing the amount of rewards you are earning. These fake interactions take from the total reward pool and real creators on the network.

Although you may still be making rewards and maybe even more with the new system over the old one (where only plus users counted as interaction) you are still not gaining what you deserve for your contribution to the network for your content, because of users exploiting this loophole.

I do not think that the new system is a long term solution to token manipulation. In fact in the long term I see the benefit in using this loophole for those that have the skills and determination, and will keep saying this tell I turn blue in the face or users start seeing the manipulation and gaming for themselves.

A new system of rewards is needed and although Minds may not understand the benefits and future of creator tokens minted on-top of other assets like Minds in order to make a better system and actual gains for the community. We are trying hard to get our little community and subscribers involved in such layouts.
