A Ghostly Glitch (Create Your Own Blogging Site In One Click) #Mindsgaming

“What have you been doing, hello?” Well I’ve been a ghost lately but we are getting back in the swing of things.

We took a little break from the social atmosphere we call Minds and went exploring, during our explorations we found a cool little coding site called Glitch.

The Glitch website says:

Glitch is like working together in Google Docs–multiple people can work on the same project at the same time. There’s no setup, and you can see changes live on the web as you type.

Glitch makes it easy and fun to express yourself with code, whether you’re a professional developer or just starting out. You can create on your own or as part of a team.

And I must agree, well okay I have to agree to an extent I don’t use google docs that often but get the point of the quote, personally it feels like a team based codepen type of site that is very user friendly.

Glitch comes with a stack of apps that you can fork or as they call it “Remix” into a new git that you own and can start designing and editing instantly.

Instant Launch

Using Glitch apps you will instantly launch the app stack and be hosting a new app on a Gitch subdomain you can always transfer later. We will guide you through remixing a Glitch app, in this case we will be using Ghost in this example of remixing .

Remix The App

Remixing an app is as easy as clicking a link to start your Glitch remix of Ghost CLICK HERE

Once the Remix has completed loading you will have instant access to the files and website you remixed for customization, you may want to create an account with Glitch so you have access to the remix in the future.

Click on the sunglasses and view your site in a tab to grab the URL or just copy it from the app “share” button under the app name.

Once you have opened your site you will be taken to your home page feed. :)

You can manage it by accessing the admin panel located at https://{your.app.glitch.me}/ghost
