Bias against Women

Women often complain that there is a bias against women that holds them back from achieving things in life. While individual people, both men and women, may hold bias against others it is not something that is practised on a wholesale basis. If fact, when it comes to be, there is more often than not a bias in favour of women, often at the expense of other men.

Throughout history men have seen women as special and put them on a pedestal granting them special concessions above those of men and even children. Take the suffrage movement for example, at a time when even most men did not hold the right to vote, women were given the vote, despite the fact that they used terrorist tactics to get their way. Not only that but they were not required to pay the price demanded of men in order to do so. Men were not given a choice, in order to vote they had to sign up for the draft, this was not an option either, a man could not refuse the draft and give up the right to vote, he had to fight whether he wanted to or not. Women on the other hand got the vote condition free.

Emily Pankhurst is seen as a heroine, yet she led the wave of terrorist bombing, arson attacks and wholesale destruction of other peoples property. Did she go to jail? Yes for a short time, but had she been a man she would surely have hanged for her crimes. It is obvious from this that women hold a privileged position in or society.

This was not the only thing that favoured women. Whenever disaster struck, the mantra was always women and children first. Note that women come even before the children. Some would say this is because they were mothers, yet even and elderly women without children would be granted this protection. On the Titanic for example wealthy women were given preference over third class children, and while you may claim this was a class issue, that is not true since third class children were given preference over first class men.

If you take a look at the world today, not only do women still have the right to vote without having to go to war as men do, but now there are dozens of laws, groups and privileges given only to women that exclude men.

Despite there being serious amount of domestic violence against men, women not only get over 99% of government funded services, but even their own gender specific laws in the form of the violence against women act. In many cases, even when a man is attacked and injured, when he calls the police, he will find himself being arrested as the perpetrator. This not only inflates the figures in favour of women, but also deflates the figure for men. Taking this into account it does not take a genius to figure out that the often quoted 40% of male victims is probably much higher, I suspect greater than the amount of female victims.

When women were failing in school the education system was rewritten and special programs introduced to help them. Now that men have fallen behind, not only is there no interest in doing anything about it, but men are being made fun of under the guise of “women are smarter”. In addition, just to add insult to injury, female only programs are still in full effect. How can women claim bias when they are offered special preference even when they are no longer the underdogs?

So for those women that continually claim bias against them, I say this, if you continue to push for evermore increasing advantages over and above men, at some point the dam will break, and you will learn what real bias is. More and more men are growing tired of your never ending demands for more privileges and they are simple dropping out of this corrupt anti male society and walking away. You can have the CEO jobs where working over 120 hours a week is considered a short week, but you will also have to learn all the other jobs that keep society running. Sewer workers, refuge collection, power grid workers, road workers, construction workers, etc, you know, all the heavy labour, high risk jobs that you, more often than not, fail to even acknowledge.

Of course I am aware that you have no interest in those jobs, but when enough man walk away, you will either have to put up and shut up, or watch in dismay as your perfect matriarchy comes crashing to the ground. Of course I know you will beg men to fix it, but at the end of the day, we didn’t break the system, so why should we fix it? You claim women can run the world better than men, lets see you put your money where your mouth is. As for us, we will just sit back and watch you fail miserably, just as it happened to the Romans centuries ago. History, it seems is destined to repeat itself, at least for those that fail to learn by it.
