The Prophet serves as a special witness of Jesus Christ and testifies that Jesus still lives and guides His church.
Restoration of the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Church: Many of us forget that the original 12 apostles were all killed off. As a result the keys of the priesthood authority were taken from the Earth. Priesthood = the authority Jesus gave His 12 Apostles to act (Baptize, Ordain, Etc...) in His name. The Church that He established during New Testament times was destroyed, and centuries later restored with the help of a very young Joseph Smith who was chosen to translate the Book of Mormon and get The Church of Jesus Christ up and running again: Teaching the Gospel, patiently perfecting the members, and completing proxy baptismal work for the dead that died without knowledge of the Plan of Salvation - so they too may choose in the Spirit World (after-life) to follow Christ by making covenants like baptism, or not. In view, humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the “vox populi” now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin, van guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
Verily this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it’s my very good honor to meet you.
