Got some work this week despite Fall Quarter starting for college. Not much more to say than that, I guess.

Project Status

Intended to complete all 50 out of 50 scene drafts this week, but only succeeded with 39 out of 50, and will work on a few more tonight. But I think giving myself two weeks to work on the scenes was still a good idea. I got to starting the first scene a few days late. Then I just skipped a couple of days. Otherwise it would've been completed by today. The fault is mine. But I'm confident I will finish it in the next few days.

After I've completed the scene drafts I'll print them off and read them in order to make sure the sequences work and they segue into each other appropriately. Some of the scenes aren't turning as I planned for during the outline, which is unfortunate. But I'm not sure if that's a bad thing given the type of story I'm working on.

An interesting discovery, however. It appears most of my scenes are just a page long. Just a few are more than a couple of pages. And quite a few are less than a page long. This might be a problem, as I want a screenplay at least 80 pages long. But there is a chance it may be fewer pages than that. I'm not aiming for the length of an episode of Game of Thrones! But I find it interesting that I wrote a feature length script that may not be long enough to be a feature.
