To Photoshop...?

OK, OK... I'll stop there, you don't need me paraphrasing the great bard for something as mundane as this. B-)

I have a question for you Minds.

Should I edit my images to improve them somewhat?

In the image below is both the unedited and what I edited it to. The one on the right is closer to what the colours actually were to me at the time... The image in the left had that strange lighting issue that I often get when taking pictures.

I'm not a good photographer yet. I tend to make mistakes by taking pictures with the wrong ISO or in the wrong aperture, many things like that.

So the question is... Should I photoshop it or just post it as is? To me the one on the left is missing colour that was there when I took the photo, I'm not adding anything in, but there are many people who feel that people who photoshop anything should be dumped in one of the lower levels of hell.

I know I'm going to help anyway, I just don't expect to be slung in so deep!
