Jillian Farrar is an accomplished singer-songwriter, publisher, producer, TV show creator, Executive Producer and soon to be published author. With twenty plus years experience as a country music professional she's earned the respect of many throughout the music business; working with some of the top producers, publishers, pluggers and songwriters in the industry. She is a Co-founder and Managing Partner of Fierce Ink, LLC (An Entertainment Media Corporation). She is the co-author of "Could Johnny Build A Bridge?", a handbook that focuses on CCSS Math in the elementary grades. It is a compiled wealth of information on the history and pitfalls of Common Core, and what can be done about it. Her new children's book titled "Lexi & Lily (The Brave Choice)" is a story of awareness surrounding sexual abuse. Farrar hopes to bring about awareness of such abuse through early education. Motivated by her passion and her father, who not only taught her to dream but to reach for the stars, she made the move to Nashville in July 1998. Soon after arriving she met Charlie Craig (a well respected writer, publisher and producer having written songs such as "Wanted" by Alan Jackson, "Between An Old Memory and Me" by Keith Whitley and Travis Tritt and countless others) whom would become her mentor, dearest friend, and producer for almost 13 years until losing his battle with cancer in July 2011. Mr. Craig was instrumental in the early successes of her career. "I have Charlie Craig to thank for my career, for the opportunities that I've had and continue to have. I have him to thank for much more than that. On July 1, 2011, I lost my best friend and a man that was like a father to me, after the loss of my own father in 01’. Fifty years will have come and gone and I will still forever be indebted to that amazing man for simply giving me a chance and for believing in me." With a brand new TV show currently in development, in late 2013, Jillian partnered with Cece Dubois to form Fierce Ink, LLC, which will house this project, as well as, several new TV shows that “FI” currently has in the works. Fierce Ink is your go to place in creative concepts.
