Group Dynamic Theory

Using the crude sketch of the thumbnail picture as my reference, I theorize what I have gathered from watching different groups of people of late and how they interact in their communities.

“The fringe” - radicals who use the group as an excuse to do whatever they want can be the majority or cause for the attention to be drawn mainly to their actions because of how radical they behave

“The center” - people who truly believe in the ideology the group originally stand a for or what they think it stands for but they are often overshadowed or disregarded by the fringe

“The mid” - the people who join because they want to be part of history. They tend to not really know why they are there, nor do they concern themselves with reasoning for joining the group other than being able to say “yeah, I was part of that!”

This seems to be the trend I’ve noticed in Black Lives Matter, ANTIFA, and the like. Being part of a movement in this generation isn’t the same as what it used to be. Until we stop focusing on creating division in our society, we will never obtain the equality the left “advocates” for or that the right preaches about. We will continue to fight with each other. Thankfully, we have found evidence (the result of this last election) that there are libertarians out there who are willing to take a stand before we destroy ourselves as a nation.

What do you think?
