This is a review of "Why We Fight" (Defeating America's Enemies -- With No Apologies) by Sebastian Gorka.

This is not about his time in the White House. That will be covered in his next book which I'm already anticipating to read. Sebastian Gorka in this book tries "to show you why we are unique as a nation. how to defeat those who wish us harm, and to share with you the incredible stories of some truly heroic Americans."

The truly heroic Americans and their incredible stories include Stephen Decatur, Chesty Puller, Eugene "Red" McDaniel, and Whittaker Chambers. I was familiar with the first, but not the other three.

I also didn't know much about Sebastian Gorka other than knowing he is a very brilliant man. It was very interesting to learn about his father (a hero in his own right), his life,  and his qualifications. Sebastian is an immigrant to this country who spent most of his life outside the country. This gives him a great perspective and appreciation for being an American citizen.

He is an expert in the art of war and its evolvement to terrorism. He has taught in many impressive places as an expert in terrorism, specifically radical Islam terrorism.

No wonder Donald Trump hired him on the spot in their initial meeting.

To me, the most interesting part of the book is Appendix Two. He served as the expert for the prosecution in the trial of the Boston Marathon bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. In this role, he was allowed unprecedented access to all the jihadist materials the FBI discovered on the bomber's laptop.

Appendix Two is the report Sebastian Gorka wrote which has never been published before.

I did not have to be convinced that Islam is our greatest and most dangerous enemy. If this book doesn't convince you of that fact, you haven't been paying attention while reading this book.

This book affirmed this fact for me.
