News - information about recent events.
Propaganda - information used to influence an audience and further an agenda.
Publicity - spread of information to attract public notice.
It is interesting that the definition of all three include information. The definition of information itself is murky, because it may not be factual or even useful.
I'm not interested in propaganda and publicity. I am interested in some news, but it is obvious that news today from all sources is incomplete, filtered, untrue (fake) and interpreted for US.
There is so much information available to US and some of US are overwhelmed to the point where we want the information in easily digestible chunks that have been already filtered and interpreted.
I am not one of those people. I want to do my own filtering and interpretation. If you are like me, be careful of what you read, watch, and absorb from all sources. I have not found any source that just gives me observed information about recent events.
Without exception, these sources all have their own biases.
