Dear internet, let's unite together to delete article 11 and 13. Creators like I, Ferrarinator sharing my car news, to Kurtzegat, a small business who composes well thought out education videos. Both laws will wipe you, and I out from showcasing our art.
September 5th is the deadline for MEPs to table amendments to the European Commission text for the 12 September plenary vote.
Greetings, I'm the Ferrarinator. A petrolhead who loves making articles on cars and taking photos on Forza Motorsport 7 or, Gran Turismo Sport. The internet has helped me share my content on Youtube and Minds.com.
Article 11 and 13 will affect the user and content creators. Thanks to the link tax and algorithms that will not understand context.
From, photos, videos and articles these algorithms built for this legislation would pick and choose what the E.U wants, not what we need.
Material such as critiques such as exposing China's sesame credit to making parodies like NASA confirms the Earth is flat.
Also, when linking clips, I've used in my YouTube videos and showing citations that help me with researching my scripts I'll have to pay for a licence. Linking is vital to me.
Many small businesses to start-ups from Kurtzegat to Minds.com will vanish overnight thanks to the algorithms enforced by Google and Amazon Web Services. Thank you, European Parliment. You've taken many peoples jobs and our choices away.
Speaking of social media, websites enforcing these laws upon start-ups like Minds.com and Bitchute wouldn't be able to afford these new algorithms. Moreover, both of these companies don't want to implement these laws.
Many areas of the web will die a painful death Creators include artists –such as cartoonists, gamers, illustrators, photographers, documentary filmmakers, animators, musicians, DJs, and dancers,– bloggers, journalists, and technologists.
Getting a copyright strike on YouTube is a pain. Many videos on my channel have copyright strikes even though I follow fair use policies. Companies such as BBC and The Formula 1 group have stricken me with copyrights.
If this bill does get passed posting videos on YouTube and Bitchute will receive many more copyrights than I already have. Why? The algorithms wouldn't understand the context of clips throughout my videos.
Picture this; I'm making a video on criticising Toyota bias towards Gran Turismo wondering why aren't you featured on Forza, Need For Speed franchise.
Meanwhile, Toyota stated, "your name is Ferrarinator. That's biased. Forza and Need For Speed have caused a slump in our sales. Gran Turismo is boosting our sales."
I reply to "Toyota declaring you're hypocrites. Since you have stopped Forza and Need For Speed from featuring your autos you've got fewer people from driving your cars. Later on, wanting to cruise them when they are older."
Meanwhile, the cowardes Toyota lobbied the European Union so they can control their message, not the consumers. No more video, or channel.
Of course, my video with many others out there on YouTube plus, Bitchute will be stricken with copyrights or taken down. That's infringement.
Within reason, have a right to criticise game companies such as Microsoft regarding how they've managed franchises such as Halo and Forza. Plus we have rights to protest about laws such as Article 11/13 and what the consequences are.
Finally, the link tax. When posting videos, articles and sometimes photographs I need to show where my citations or websites are. Excerpts give the viewers or readers what sites I've used. The link tax will destroy honest journalism!
Thankfully, I've got solutions to stop Article 11 and 13. Firstly, contact your favourite social influencers requesting them to make a video/blog on how Article 11/13 will affect other internet users.
Secondly, contact your MEP. If you're in the European Union, this one is for you. Please use the links I have provided (saveyourinternet.eu or, europarl.eu) to reach out to your MEP.
Please don't verbally abuse your MEP because you'll ruin our chances of preventing these laws.
Thirdly, share this video/article. Alternatively, create a video on the dangers of these rules could do.
Minds users, let's unite to delete Article 11 and 13. We can stop billions of Euro's wasted on making algorithms that would censor influences and ideas. Share the blog, protest on the street, contact your favourite creators so, we can stop these laws in their tracks.
Ferrarinator needs you to contact your MEP and let's delete Article 11 and 13.
