Why You Need To Understand History For Yourself

Kids sitting with their head down in class. An overweight, government-paid teacher on anti-depressants rambling on about some historical event she doesn't care about herself. And even at that, she doesn't understand anything more than the bare facts. She can tell you the names, dates, maybe even the town where it happened. One thing she can't tell you is why.

That is the one question our entire generation has been left wondering. Why? The fact of the matter is that the why is the only thing that can teach you anything about history. If you don't clearly understand the why then you don't understand your history.

You see, the problem with not understanding the why's of our own history means those who control government schools do. They control the narrative. History shapes how people think and act, and focusing on certain historical events can encourage certain trains of thought. Primarily guilt & self-hatred.

What are the two primary topics for history students in the United States? Slavery and the holocaust. This is important for three reasons.

1) It creates a culture of guilt and self-hatred for ethnic Europeans

2) It prevents criticism of these "persecuted" groups

3) These essentially act as foundation myths, especially in the case of the holocaust in Germany

Despite there being a lot of nuance to both these situations, they serve their purpose. They create guilt. And I want to make one thing very clear. We have let them do it. By depending on governmental institutions to teach us our history, we have given control of our past to the enemy, and they are using it to kill us.

History has been weaponized.

The only way to fight back is to understand it for yourself. Here is how you can get started. Read history for yourself. I know it can be painful at first, but you can start with videos. I recommend Stefan Molyneux as a great starting point. He has a few really great videos covering topics from the parallels to Rome, to slavery, and even the Crusades.

From there, you can read the most important stuff directly. You should read books like the communist manifesto, Mein Kampf, The Republic, and Wealth of Nations and many more.

As was said in 1984, "Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past."

Stop letting the enemy control the past.

The end of guilt-culture begins with you.
