Hey guys! Hope Y'all doing wonderfully well? Today is a lovely day over here. The sun is out and shining and the streets are quiet. So, in the reflection of the superb conditions under which I’m writing this article I would like to introduce y’all to an equally superb and fascinating project currently in the pipeline and just waiting for you to know about and take interest in.

We all have had from repeatedly involved in a particular trade in one way or another whether it is as just as the average mom buying groceries every weekend (as mine does) or a business mogul that requires that particular raw material for his company or a manager that needs to restock the supplies needed by his company constantly at specified intervals, the story is mostly the same. We all feel it’s tasking and kind of monotonous and unfortunately, it doesn’t just do itself over time. Well, fortunately, with GSC platform it could! Did I just see you sit up straight? You were right to! Let’s talk!

What is GSCP?

The GSC platform is one built on the blockchain (with its attendant advantages of security and transparency) that plans to provide its users with an easy to set up and use purchase management software that they could use to address a lot of logistics challenges they may face with items that need repeated purchase and/or are sensitive and need special handling.

How does it do this?

The GSC platform comes along with three delicious packages; an IT platform, smart purchase, and parts traceability.

IT platform: this has 4 components which are

- The “system of alerts” that notifies the users of relevant courses of action and when to take them ahead so that they don’t get caught unawares (who need a P.A then? *smirk),

- “supplier follow up” and “supplier index card” that helps find and integrate new suppliers worldwide as well as keep and an up-to-date dossier on their activities so buyers that choose suppliers that best fit their requirements, and finally,

- the “buyer’s dashboard” that keep very vital information as favorite suppliers, the one underperforming, recently added ones, ongoing orders etc.

Smart purchases and process automation: this is a form of smart contract easily accessible by the buyer where he/she gets to choose the one that best fits his needs as well as best and optimum data storage needed. All parts of the contract are accessible by the buyer, carrier, and supplier. All parts of a transaction take place on their own with very little for intervention and yet, fully supervised by the IT platform by all parties concerned.

Parts traceability: in sensitive industries (especially those where slight mistakes could cost human lives) there is a need for extra care when spare parts are being ordered. With the GSC platform, there is increased confidence in the quality and origin of a part being received as all processes it has been involved in, from its production to the time it gets to the buyer are easily maximally accessible by the buyer and all else without the risk of forgery or alteration of documentation as found in other platforms.
